The Maury County Election Commission makes voter registration lists (commonly referred to as voter rolls) available for purchase in accordance with Tennessee law.

Eligibility & Certification Requirements

T.C.A. § 2-2-138 requires that voter registration lists be made available for purchase by any person who certifies that the information will be used for political purposes only.

False certification is a Class B misdemeanor.

Prior to release, all purchasers must complete and sign a Political Purposes Certification.

Available Formats & Costs

  • Computer Printouts: $0.03 per name
  • USB / Electronic Media: $40.00 flat fee

Pricing is established under the uniform fee schedule set by the Tennessee State Election Commission.

Voter registration data is updated daily and reflects the most current information available at the time of purchase, including address changes, death records and cancellations received through official notification processes.

Because the Maury County Election Commission’s primary responsibility is conducting elections, voter registration list requests may be delayed or temporarily unavailable within thirty (30) days prior to an election and until that election is certified.

Other Requests

  • Requests for records other than voter registration lists are subject to the Tennessee Public Records Act and must be submitted through a Maury County Public Records Request.
