This page provides instructions for updating voter registration information in Maury County, Tennessee.

  1. You moved within your county or you changed your name.

You may change your name or address using the online voter registration system by following this link: https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/

If you would prefer to do this process with physical paper, the voter registration application form also serves as a name and/or address change request.

You can download that document here: https://sos-prod.tnsosgovfiles.com/s3fs-public/document/ss-3010_4.pdf

Complete the form and return it to the Maury County Election Commission Office.

If you are updating your name the form must be mailed or hand delivered to the Maury County Election Office.

The form must be signed and received no later than five days before the election in order to process the change.

If Early Voting has already started, the voter with the name or address change may go to an Early Voting location to make the change(s).

If it is Election Day, a signed affidavit will be required to make the changes before a voter is allowed to vote.

  1. You moved to a different County

Your voter registration does NOT transfer to other counties in Tennessee. We recommend you register to vote in Maury County via this link: https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/ .

You must register to vote no later than thirty (30) days before the election.

  1. You need a duplicate registration card

If you need a duplicate or replacement voter registration card because your card was lost, damaged, or not received, you may request one from the Maury County Election Commission Office.

In order to obtain a duplicate registration card, you must either make a physical appearance and provide a written request at the Maury County Election Commission office, or you may mail/email a signed letter (signature must match what we have on file) to our office for processing. Signed letter should include name, address, voter id number if available, and a signature with date.

  1. Voter Name Removal

If you would like to remove your name from the voting rolls, you may request, in writing, that we do so.

Please submit a ticket and one of our team members will reach out to you with further instructions.
